"It´s All Right"

Here I live with the song It's All Right with the lyric in English. You remember the interview? This is the song that Nicolai tells a friend who should be himself.
Has no waste! Once again, Nicolai demonstrates that is a sensible and responsible guy. If I already admired him before, now I admire him more.

I'm so tired of hearing you say it's cool

homie, explain to me eh `you are going?

Tell me where do you think it ends? The pace?

When partying, test limits

Must always be wilder than the others

Must always a little farther out

and you will be badboy when you hang out

And be better - yes - for yet another celebration

with a bottle in your hand and a fag in your mouth shut

Did you forget how old you are (say what?)

Is that really what you want to be (do not care?)

I'm your friend - listen now - now fall down

Think twice before you come a cropper

You know if you bli `r know so you go down

Tell me what it is you're so busy (busy)

With eh `you're trying to achieve

Ta now and chill

Take care of yourself, homie, you go down (crash)

It `cool to say no

Be Yourself - It `allright

I know it sounds like a raised finger

But you my friend and as long as we are friends

Do I have to be honest with you

I'm afraid of where it ends

If not it `you turn down, you see yourself in the eye

Honestly - no lies

Is it really worth it to be on the worst?

Unfortunately, I think that you feel you need it

to live up to some rumor

Damn, you know better than that

I `your friend - listen now - now fall down

Think twice before you get into trouble

You know if you bli `r know so you go down

Tell me what it is you're so busy (busy)

With eh `you're trying to achieve

Ta now and chill

Take care of yourself, homie, you go down (crash)

It `cool to say no

Be Yourself - It `allright

I can not it `see why it` would be so cool

Watch now somewhat in your life, you have only a

You have time - now fall down -

It `OK, if you're just yourself

Oh-oh - Oh-oh - Oh-oh-oh

Oh-oh - Oh-oh - Oh-oh-oh

Be yourself, it `allright

oh-oh-oh-oh

(Be yourself, now - be yourself)

Tell me what it is you're so busy (busy)

With eh `you're trying to achieve

Ta now and chill

Take care of yourself, homie, you go down (crash)

It `cool to say no

Be Yourself - It `allright

Interview with Nicolai Kielstrup

This is an interview three years ago -but I think is really good.

Nicolai won Eurovision two years ago with "Shake Shake Shake", and he's full speed ahead in his career. Today he is 16 years and publishes its second album "Stage 2" with lots of dancing, singing, rap, love and a message of being yourself.

When are you an adult? The issue is that many children and young people who made himself and his surroundings. And there is probably no clear answer. But the fact is that even if you've won a children's Eurovision Song Contest, known as MGP, you will not remain a child.

"We have tried to make an album that has some numbers that are so fat that they could be played on the radio. There is a tendency that can not play music created by children on the radio in Denmark. But in America you can still figure out how to take the very young artists seriously. Justin Timberlake, for example, was played by the very young. So did Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears", says Nicolai.

"They had started their career with a push in the right direction that adults played them on the radio. We should also be able to do at home, the sooner you get started, the better one can develop and become an accomplished artist", points out Nicolai.

It is what Nicolai wants to be. He works hard to become one. Since the MGP victory, he has been singing and dancing lessons. And he has his hands buried deep in the project and hearts, when a new CD becomes. "I'm even in favor of everything on the CD," reveals Nicolai. "The process occurred in the way that I've got a lot of tracks to listen to. Some long, some short. Some in just 30 seconds. I then selected 11 tracks from that had some beats that told me something. Then I suggested a theme for each beat, for example, unrequited love", says Nicolai.

The individual stories Nicolai inspired songwriter by typing keywords or small stories, as lyricist has written about and put in verse. "Song writer is very imaginative, and the result was exactly as I wanted it. It's fun to see how a little short story are changed when there is music. Without music it may seem tame, but the music gives an extra feeling. It works insanely fat. It really gets the text to flow", states Nicolai stuck.

Be yourself!

One text has Nicolai however even put more than his fingerprints on. It is the song "It's All Right". It is about that it's cool to say no and be themselves. "I walk in the ninth class now, and there we have some festivals where people drink themselves lame stiff and smoking cigarettes. And people do it most because the others do. It seems I'm not fat. In the song, which I have written much of himself, I say to my friend who behaves like he must resist it. He must be himself, because I think you should be", says Nicolai.

He has gone after making a very varied album, and succeeded. There are hot dance tunes, sensitive ballads, invasive rap and delicious, creamy pop sometimes. "It is a clear popplade, so I am obviously not in pure rock, but there is considerable variation, and this is deliberate. In addition, I sing a lot more like this CD than I did on the first. So I hope people can hear that something has happened and that I have developed. I hope people can hear that I am entitled to make this cd”.

The heart is with you!

The development has cost concentration, effort and lots of sweat in the room and sang on the dance floor. "The music is not my whole life, but I really like it. And it is unmitigated, what I do. When we start a project like this, I love practicing on it. It's not like writing an essay in school which may be good enough, but also often just something to be overcome. This is something I really strive for, and when I say: Yes!, Let's get going!"

But one thing is to make a CD. Another thing is to perform with numbers of a live audience. Again, feel Nicolai himself flying. "It's cool and funny that my hobby is something that comes in stores and can be purchased by anyone. But it is actually even cooler to occur. It is fantastic! Last summer I did 30-40 shows at various festivals and elsewhere. I hope to be allowed again this year. And next year...". Nicolai dreams and promises:

"As long as there is audience for what I do and as long as I think it's funny, I know."

Super Interview: Nicolai Kielstrup

Here you have another interview with Nicolai, who has taken me longer to translate because it was in Danish. Hope you enjoy!

Nicolai Kielstrup:

"I'm fine with giving others something of myself!"

When one has had its debut in the children's Eurovision Song Contest, you must fight extra hard to gain recognition for the skills and talents you have in singing, dancing and music. But Nicolai can not go on the negative tasters. He enjoys to be on stage every single time, and demand is so great that the girls are already queuing up to buy the new third CD, which will be ready in February.

Nicolai Kielstrup lacking either success or fans. The last three years, thousands of children and young people queuing to come to his concerts and buying his albums. Many may forget that a large part of the success is also due to hard work. Many hours of driving on the highways, as well as singing and dance classes, precedes the popular shows.

In the studio:

- You've postponed the release date to February 2009 for the new third CD. How's the work in the studio?

- It goes forward, but it's a big process, especially because this time I is itself even more with the songwriting part along with several others and want a little extra time. I listen to the music itself, like many others, for example, to get in a good mood. And if I have one of my quiet days, I often write my text presentations. Producer Lars Quang, who is known to have produced C21 and Unite. The music makes Lars and some young guys who call themselves the RNG.

Lyrically, the new CD reflect that again I was a little older. I move still ignore the stairs and into song the universe, and so many people would notice that my voice has been a little deeper. The fascinating thing about producing music is that you start in a 'space' without a sound and when you're done, there's a whole new song.

On the road

- How does the preparation when going out to perform?

- We are in fact many of the place: my dancers, my soundman, tour manager, photographer / webmaster and in the coming summer I hope to have my band with. I know my dancers really well and it gives me great comfort to have them on stage every time. So I know that the show related hangs together. I usually have my own soundman with, which is important, because he knows the music portion and out. My tour manager does all the practical planning before and during the show.

Phew, there is much to be planned! It starts several days before a show where my tour manager creates a schedule which are agreed who should be retrieved where and when we get in the place we should play.

So you need to make a setliste, in which songs we should play. It makes me, either alone or in cooperation with our soundman. On the day we get up early and pack the car and then around and collect all up to be with.

hen we're promoting at the venue shall we do and perhaps have sound check and otherwise we let up for the show. It is important for me to warm my voice up thoroughly with various exercises.

Before the show I will gather all the dancers and band around me and we all wish each other a good show. After the autograph sessions themselves or on their way home on the tour bus, there will be finally time to talk about how everything is gone.

The day after a show I admit like I am fairly burned out. Conversely, I am pretty good at relaxing when I have time for it - and one thing's for sure: the night before a show I always go to bed early and get a good night's sleep.

Faroe Islands:

- In the summer you performed in the Faroes for the first time at the Children's Festival in Torshavn. How signs the concert itself from those you are accustomed to do here at home?

- It was a fantastic experience! The biggest difference was probably the wild mood after the show where I had to be lifted down to autograph table to get to sign autographs, so many people had flocked together.

Afterwards the show we had to quickly jump into two taxis and drive back to the hotel. So there was a good time in it. A special experience, I think my dancers and I would remember. One day we decided that we wanted to look at nature and we had found a place where you could get out on a guided tour. We drove away in a rented car and the way we asked for directions, because it was a bit difficult to find. We came in on the right path and in the beginning, the road was narrow and twisted.

After a few hundred meters of driving, it appeared that the road twisted up into infinity. On one side was the mountain side and on the other, a deep abyss. There was no guard rails and the road was no wider than a bike path.

There was only one thing to do, it was impossible to turn, so we continued upward many kilometers. Eventually we came to a small plateau where there was a 'shed' - completely deserted and empty it was. There was a reference to a phone number you could call. We were still fresh to enjoy nature, but the driver, our tour manager, it seems that the landscape was too dangerous to shut us out in them. Because of the very steep hillsides, so we snuck lead us down again. The road was so narrow that one of my dancers sat with his head out of the side window and directed, so we did not get too close to the abyss! Yes, it was an exciting ride, and nature was fantastic!

The dreams and evolution

- You have had a rocket career for the last 3 years and is at the age of 17 years already, publish your third album. What has been the hardest thing about that things went so strongly?

- To accept that it sometimes is very hard work and uphill. It is very hard behind. But I'm fine with giving others something of myself." So I would not find myself well to pull me back in time.

I love the stand on the stage and fire the max of them and give my audience an experience. I work actually best when I'm busy and all my CDs have become at times when I've made a lot of shows.

- We all know of your great skills in singing and dancing, and especially your charming ability to lead you into your music when you perform. What do you think it takes before you throw yourself into some of the dreams you have previously mentioned, to acting, for example in a Danish movie?

- It would of course require that there is one with an offer to me about a movie role - but I actually feel I'm ready for it. I've got a basic education in drama and theater at LEGOLAND Show Academy where I was a student when I was younger. Unfortunately it is closed now.

The key for the next few years is to continue perfecting me with my dance, song and music and I hope that I can do my shows 'even bigger' - we operate namely that my band should be a regular part of the show in future.

Right here and now it is about my third CD. Although we have moved the release date to February, however, we already have a single release ready here in November. It's called 'It too late now' and about 'broken love "- it was also the one I played in Parken to Mini Zulu Rocks the 2008.

Interview Nicolai JESC

Nicolai Kielstrup from Denmark has spoken to junioreurosong.net about his experience in Junior Eurovision and what he's been doing since JESC. In Hasselt he achieved 4th place with 121 points, and he did it performing in 2nd position - a known "unlucky" spot. Shake Shake Shake may have brought him to fame, but since then he's released three albums including Deja Vu: Tilbage til Mig, which is the most mature and professional to date.

Hello Nicolai, thank you for doing this interview! You were 14 years old when you entered MGP Nordic, when did you first become interested in performing?
I started dancing at the age of 4, and that progressed into singing.

Your song for Junior Eurovision – Shake Shake Shake, what made you decide to write it? Who helped you create it?
I had decided that I wanted to participate in the Danish Junior Eurovision so that is why I wrote the song. I wrote the text myself and had a bit of help with the music from a friend.

The choreography was very impressive in Hasselt, how much work went into your performance that night?
My dancers and I spent many many hours practising before the JESC. We trained several times a day up till the competition.

What was your favourite experience of the JESC, and what was your least favourite?
What I remember most is the fantastic experience it was to stand on that big stage in Hasselt. The great decorations and the thought that millions of TV viewers were watching. The whole trip was a huge experience for me.

Do you still keep in touch with any other contestants that you met in 2005? If so, who?
No, unfortunately I do not have contact with any of the participants from 2005.

What was the after party and other events like in Hasselt? Did the winner Kseniya seem happy? Did anyone seem sad?
I remember the after party as a fun time where everybody enjoyed themselves.

You received Denmark’s best ever placing – did you gain a certain level of fame after that?
I received a lot of attention in Denmark after my participation and many people remember me still :)

What did you think of Anne Gadegaard and COOL KIDS, the other Danish entries to JESC? Are you in touch with any of them?
I think they did very well - I still have contact with Anne Gadegaard.

Being neighbours so to speak, do you ever perform with Malin Reitan, Norway’s representative from ’05?
No, unfortunately I have never performed with Malin.

What were your favourite entries in 2005? And your favourite Junior ESC songs ever?
My favourite song in 2005 was the Dutch entry (Tess Gaerthe - Stupid).

Did you find Kseniya Sitnik of Belarus a good winner in 2005?
Yes indeed :)

Do you still watch JESC? What do you think of it in it’s current format, with the absence of most of Scandinavia, along with countries like Spain, UK etc.

The excitement of the competition was much greater for me when Denmark still participated in the international JESC.

In your opinion, is Junior Eurovision good for young singers? You would have been happy with your placing, but were some of the lower placed contestants upset after the voting?
I think everyone accepted it as the competition it is and accepted the voting they got. Though of course some got disappointed.

Can we expect to see you in the adult Eurovision? What are you doing with your music career these days? Do you have plans to release any more albums?
If someone invited me to participate in the adult Eurovision, I would consider it if the song was great. At the moment I'm trying to "create my own music style". As in my latest album "Dejavu Tilbage Til Mig - and in the song Diva Baby with my Music video and latest remix version. I hope to hit the Danish Club scene in the spring.

What are your hobbies, what do you do for fun?
I play golf and hang out with friends and family.

Random question - favourite holiday destination?
Italy!

Is there anything you want to say to our readers? Do you have a website where they can follow you?www.myspace.com/nicolaikielstrup
I hope that you will all check out my music and join me on Myspace - Twitter and Facebook

NICOLAI KIELSTRUP: DO YOU KNOW HIM?

The little girls were wild as Song Contest winner in the 2005 song "Shake Shake Shake". Although there's been five years, Nicolai Kielstrup guaranteed to still keep their interest lay with other than singing.

The picture of the crispy singer who recently turned 19 years old, lies on his Facebook profile. But many friends cast doubt where the real is the tiny little guy who in five years has been a great bread. But it certainly conjures Nicolai to the ground:

- Can see there is some debate whether it's me in the picture - it is an unedited pics of me. I also spent some time in the gym.

You can enjoy the beautiful Kielstrup where he currently gives concerts around the country, and celebrates its 10 years as an active musician.

Do you like my draw of Nicolai? -I know that the real is more handsome, haha-.I did yesterday, and Nico liked! (Really, how charming boy!).

It's been a month since I sent the letter. Hopefully he answered and sign the autograph I asked. I would be very pleased!
